I would like feature so that I can move over from Airtable. I need the attachments field type for non tech and clients to add directly into the GUI.

Sue Holder: You may be interested to check out the Xata-to-Airtable migrator tool here: https://github.com/xataio/migrator
Until support for images and other attachment files is available, this tool will create url links in Xata, pointing to the location of the files stored in Airtable.
Once this feature request for image/eventually file attachments is implemented, the migrator tool will be updated to copy over the actual files as well!
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support address (support@xata.io)

Kostas Botsas: Thank you for the suggestion, however, it doesn't make sense to have use Xata and store images in Airtable. I will rather just stick with a single source.
Kostas Botsas
Sue Holder: Totally understandable! Just thought it might be useful to share the migration tool early on, in case you wanted to poke around and see how your data would look like when ported over to Xata! Native support for images and attachments is definitely in our to-do list, stay tuned.

Kostas Botsas: Thank you; that's a valid point and definitely something I would like to do. I was really impressed with the way Xata is so developer focussed and I'm very excited about it. In comparison, it's so much easier and far quicker to use than Airtable and I look forward to starting new projects with it going forward. I will certainly stay tuned!

What about partnering with Cloudinary (or the like)?
